Pilot program

AI pilot program: try Mindlet free of charge with your learners

We equip a group, train your team, measure, and it costs you nothing. In return, we ask for time, honesty and real use. This page sets out exactly what, on your side and on ours.

  • €0 for the institution
  • About 4 hours per term for trainers
  • Stop at any time
€0 Report handed over, even if unflattering

Why it's free

What we're looking for

The product works. What we're missing is knowing what it changes for real learners, over a long period, watched by people whose job this is.

That's the only reason it's free, and we'd rather say so than present it as a commercial gesture. It's also why a pilot that doesn't run is of no interest to us: better to say no today than to find out in six months that nobody opened the app.

On your side

What we ask of you

Volunteer trainers and a pilot class. We put the app in their hands, they use it with their subject, and they tell us what they get out of it. A pilot where nobody really takes part produces an empty report and costs both sides a term.

  • Volunteer trainers, and a pilot class
  • A contact person at the institution
  • A scoping meeting: the group, the subject, the length
  • One hour of hands-on training, with the people concerned present
  • Checking what the app has produced before sharing it with the group
  • Using it for real. How it fits into your lessons and into independent work is up to you
  • Letting us observe a session, as it actually happens
  • A monthly conversation with the trainers, no questionnaire
  • Telling us what annoys you, what's missing, what doesn't work
  • Sharing, aggregated or pseudonymised, the results you already produce
  • A closing interview, and a read-through of the report
  • Letting us know if you stop, and telling us why

About four hours per term

That's the time of the trainers and the contact person, interviews included, and it's the only time we count. We don't measure how long learners spend in the app, and we don't ask you to track it. If that's not manageable right now, say so: we'd rather push back a term than start with nothing.

Our commitments

What we commit to

  • No commercial strings

The pilot creates no rights, no preference clause and no obligation to buy at the end.

  • No exclusivity

You remain free to use other tools, including competitors, during and after.

  • No solicitation

We will not approach your learners or their families to sell a subscription. There is no advertising in the product.

  • Reversibility

Stop at any time, without a reason and without notice, with a full export of the content produced.

  • Transparent results

The final report is handed to you even if it isn't flattering to us, and you read it before any public communication.

  • Your name stays yours

No use of your name or logo without prior written consent, case by case.

Who can apply?

Any institution that trains learners

Three possible scopes

  • One class and one trainer, to form an opinion.
  • A reinforced support scheme, for the learners who need it most.
  • Several groups and several sites, when you want results that can be aggregated.

Length

How long does a pilot last?

You set the scope and the length, with no commitment. One condition only: at least one chapter must be reviewed over four to six weeks. Below that, retention can't be read and the report won't say anything.

LengthWhat you can learn from it
Six to eight weeks A view on day-to-day use and the real workload for trainers. Too short to conclude on retention.
One term Retention measured over a full chapter, attendance, a review you can present internally.
One semester Two sequences, so a solid internal comparison between two ways of working.
One year Long-term retention, the effect on learners with particular needs, a report usable beyond the institution.

Beyond the minimum, everything is open to discussion: a pilot can be extended or stopped.

The process

How a pilot runs

  1. Scoping

A meeting to agree the group, the subject and the length. You name a contact person.

  2. Setup

We create the space, the groups and the accounts, then an hour of hands-on training on site, with a one-page memo.

  3. Real use

You use the app as you see fit. Every month: a visit, a conversation, a dashboard.

  4. Closing

A final interview, the report to read through, the export of all content produced. Then you decide.

Data and AI

Data, and artificial intelligence

  • The data is yours. A complete, usable copy handed over at the end, export possible at any time.
  • Nothing that identifies people on our side. The table linking accounts to people never leaves your institution.
  • No health data, under any circumstances.
  • Providers listed. Our main providers process data within the European Union, with processing governed in writing; no resale, no advertising.
  • Nothing behind anyone's back. Whatever the trainer sees, the learner can see too.
  • The AI prepares, it doesn't judge. Anything published to a group has been checked by a responsible adult.

At the end

What happens at the end

You receive the report and the export of all content produced, and you decide. Three possible next steps, none of them owed.

  • You stop

And you keep your content. Nothing is asked of you.

  • You extend

The pilot carries on, with the same group or a wider scope.

  • You move to a licence

The Cosmos licence: a base of €99.99 a month including VAT with two creator seats, learners free and unlimited. An institution that has run a pilot with us discusses it on a different footing.

If it doesn't work

If the tool doesn't help your learners, we'll tell you before you tell us, and the report will say so too. That's exactly what we want to find out: a pilot that concludes "no" is more useful to us than a pilot that never happened.

The agreement

It isn't a commercial contract: there's no price, no imposed length and no penalty. It's a one-page good-faith agreement between two parties who know what they bring. Signing it means saying yes to what we ask of you on one side, and to our commitments on the other.

Write to us

A pilot starts with an email

No form: write to contact@mindlet.app, with the subject "Programme pilote". The button below prepares the message. To save a round of emails, tell us:

  • your institution, and who to contact
  • the group you have in mind, the subject and the number of learners
  • the volunteer trainers
  • the start date and length that suit you
Email contact@mindlet.app

One of the two founders, Mehdi Ghoulam or Anthony Menghi, will reply.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is the pilot program free?

Yes, entirely. Licences, setup, the hour of on-site training, monthly visits, the helpline and the final report cost the institution nothing. What we ask in return isn't money: time (about four hours per term for trainers), honesty and real use.

How long does a pilot last?

You decide. The useful minimum is one chapter reviewed over four to six weeks. Six to eight weeks give a view on day-to-day use; a term measures retention over a full chapter; a semester lets you compare two ways of working; a year measures long-term retention.

What does the institution commit to?

Volunteer trainers and a pilot class, a contact person, a scoping meeting, real use of the app, one observed session, a monthly conversation and a closing interview. About four hours per term in all, for the trainers. You can stop at any time, without a reason or notice.

Do we need our data protection officer's approval?

That's for your institution to decide, and we recommend involving them early. We give them what they need: the list of our providers and their countries, our documents, and how the pilot works (nothing identifying on our side, no health data, export at any time). Details on our data protection page.

Can we pilot with a single class?

Yes, it's actually the most common format: one class and one trainer, to form an opinion. Two other formats exist: a reinforced support scheme for the learners who need it most, or several groups and sites for results that can be aggregated.

What if we stop halfway?

Nothing more than a message to let us know, and ideally tell us why. You can stop without a reason and without notice, and you get the full export of the content produced. The pilot creates no obligation to buy.

And after the pilot?

You receive the report and the export, then you choose: stop and keep your content, extend, or move to the Cosmos licence (€99.99 a month including VAT with two creator seats, learners free). Prices are public on the pricing page.
