The Mindlet app is in French. This guide quotes each button as it appears on screen, in French, with its English meaning in brackets. Your own courses and cards can be in English or eight other languages.

A challenge is a two-player duel: you and a friend answer the same questions from a collection, each on your own, and the best score wins. You need an account and at least one friend.

Start a challenge

  1. Open Moi (Me), then « Défis » (Challenges), and tap « Nouveau défi » (New challenge).
  2. Under « Adversaire » (Opponent), pick a friend.
  3. Under « Collection », pick the collection to play on.
  4. Under « Partie » (Game), adjust « Nombre de cartes » (Number of cards), « Temps par carte » (Time per card) and « Type de cartes » (Card type) if you like, then tap « Valider » (Confirm).
  5. Tap « Envoyer le défi » (Send the challenge). Your friend gets an invitation, and each of you plays your round separately.

Two shortcuts: in a collection, the « S’évaluer » (Test yourself) tab offers « Défier un ami » (Challenge a friend) under « À plusieurs » (With others); in your friends list, a button lets you challenge someone directly.

Add a friend

Open Moi, then « Amis » (Friends). Search for the person by username or email, or pick from « Ajout rapide » (Quick add). They receive a request; once they accept, you can challenge them.

Answer a challenge

In « Défis », the « Défis reçus » (Challenges received) section lists pending invitations. Open one to see the format, the number of cards and the time per card, then tap « Accepter le défi » (Accept the challenge) or « Refuser » (Decline). The result appears once both rounds are played: « Victoire » (Win), « Défaite » (Loss) or « Égalité » (Draw).

Age

Challenges are a feature between members: closed under 13, and they need a parent’s consent between 13 and 15.
