The Mindlet app is in French. This guide quotes each button as it appears on screen, in French, with its English meaning in brackets. Your own courses and cards can be in English or eight other languages.
You can delete your account yourself, from the app, at any time. Deletion is permanent: your collections, cards, history and badges are erased, and nothing can be recovered afterwards.
Delete your account
- If you have a paid subscription, cancel it first. A subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play is billed by the store: see Manage your subscription and cancel it.
- Open Moi (Me), then Réglages (Settings), then « Compte et sécurité » (Account and security).
- In the « Suppression du compte » (Account deletion) section, tap « Supprimer mon compte » (Delete my account).
- To confirm, type the word SUPPRIMER (delete) in capitals.
- Tap « Supprimer définitivement » (Delete permanently).
What is erased, what remains
- All your personal data is erased: profile, collections, cards, documents, learning history, badges.
- Public collections you shared remain available to the people who copied them.
- Some data is kept for a while for legal reasons, such as invoices. Details are on the Account deletion page.
Before you delete
You can ask for a copy of your collections, cards and history by emailing support@mindlet.app.
No access to the app
If you can no longer sign in, the Account deletion page explains how to request deletion by email.
