The Mindlet app is in French. This guide quotes each button as it appears on screen, in French, with its English meaning in brackets. Your own courses and cards can be in English or eight other languages.
Beyond cards, a collection’s « Supports » (Materials) tab offers five formats: « Fiche de révision » (Study guide), « Carte mentale » (Mind map), « Podcast », « Diaporama » (Slideshow) and « Vidéo » (Video). Each tile shows where the material stands, for example « Disponible » (Available), « En préparation » (Being prepared) or « À générer » (To generate).
Get a study material
- Open the collection, then the « Supports » tab.
- Tap the tile you want.
- If it doesn’t exist yet, start it from its page, for example with « Générer le podcast » (Generate the podcast). If generating has a cost, it is shown before you confirm.
- Come back later: the tile switches to « Disponible » once it’s ready.
The five materials
| Material | What you get |
|---|---|
| Fiche de révision (Study guide) | A summary of the whole collection, topic by topic: definitions, formulas, tables, diagrams, key points and common traps. Downloadable as a PDF. |
| Carte mentale (Mind map) | The outline of your course as branches. It builds itself while your documents are analysed. From a branch, « Générer des cartes » (Generate cards) creates cards on that part. |
| Podcast | Two voices talk through your course. For the bus ride or a walk. |
| Diaporama (Slideshow) | Slides drawn from the course, exportable as a PDF. |
| Vidéo (Video) | The slides with narration, as a subtitled MP4 video. |
Good to know
- After you add content, a tile may read « Disponible, à mettre à jour » (Available, needs updating): the material doesn’t include the new content yet.
- The « Apprendre » (Learn) tab also offers a lesson path built from the same course.
- Like anything produced by AI, a study material can contain mistakes. Keep your course nearby to check anything that looks off.
