The Mindlet app is in French. This guide quotes each button as it appears on screen, in French, with its English meaning in brackets. Your own courses and cards can be in English or eight other languages.
On iPhone and Android, you can review without a connection any collection you have already opened while online. Your answers stay on the phone and are sent as soon as the network is back, with no duplicates.
Review offline
- Before you go, open the collection once while connected. Mindlet then keeps its cards on the phone.
- With no signal, start the session as usual. A banner reads « Hors connexion : tes révisions sont enregistrées » (Offline: your reviews are saved).
- Back online, the banner shows « Synchronisation de tes révisions… » (Syncing your reviews…), then disappears once everything is sent.
What needs a connection
- Adding a course, and generating cards or study materials.
- The practice exam, the timed test and the placement test.
- The assistant, challenges and live rooms.
Good to know
- An offline session holds up to 20 cards.
- A collection never opened online shows « Collection indisponible hors connexion » (Collection unavailable offline).
- On the web, the app must already be open: a page reloaded without a connection won’t start. For studying on the move, use the iPhone or Android app.
- On a phone, « Rappels de révision hors connexion » (Offline review reminders), in Réglages → Notifications, schedules your reminders on the device itself.
